Difference Between P8, P6, and P10 for Outdoor Videotron

In the previous article, we have already discussed what the meaning of P10 or Pitch 10 is, in that article it explains that Pitch 10 and the type of lamp that is used is the DIP (Dual Inline Package) type which is a LED technology that has already existed for a long time. It is still used until now because of the range of usage, levels, and long-lasting brightness.

What is the difference between P8 and P6 LED screens videotron ? Compared to the videotron P10, videotron P8 and P6 use SMD (Surface Mount Device) technology. SMD is the latest technology for LEDs that are made smaller and thinner, generally only used for indoors and developed to be used in outdoor. SMD itself has a color value with better uniformity display with a denser pixel resolution, but the brightness level for outdoors is still better for LEDs that use DIP.

The installation of the P8, P6 SMD videotron is the same as the P10 DIP outdoor videotron and is usually used on large roads such as at highway intersections. Videotrons are applied in a tall buildings, and are made like headbands across the highway. Its function is the same as other videotron which is to visualize any content in real-time.
