Manchester City today announced the renewal of its global partnership with Unilumin, an LED Display solution.

As Manchester City’s Official LED Display partner since early 2021, Unilumin provided a new ‘Supersized LED’ digital display system which was installed at the Etihad Stadium in May 2021 and has made the club’s pitchside media space the most commercial and valuable in the Premier League.

Leveraging the latest technology in outdoor LED display capabilities, the introduction of the new system has enabled greater design coverage for Clubs and partners, delivering unmatched image quality and providing twice the exposure than traditional LED systems.

New technology in the control system with smart features implemented as part of the partnership also allows content to be adjusted depending on camera angles and weather conditions. As part of the renewal agreement, Unilumin and Man City will continue to work together on the latest technological innovations and produce engaging content for fans.

Scott Munn, Chief Executive Officer, China, City Football Group, said: “We are pleased to announce the renewal of our partnership with Unilumin Sports. Their world-leading technology and expertise has enabled Manchester City to deploy exciting new platforms and provide greater global value and impact for our partners and engage with our fans around the world.

We look forward to continuing to develop our relationship, further sharing our expertise and continuing our investment into the Etihad Stadium infrastructure.”

Tiger Lin, President of Unilumin Group, said: “We had a wonderful partnership with Manchester City in the last year. And we will use Unilumin’s integrated Metasight solution to bring the best audio-visual experience to fans around the world. I also hope that we will continue to strengthen cooperation, add to the brilliance of the sports industry, and transmit the spirit of sports to tens of thousands of people who love sports.”
